We all talk about women safety in various contexts. Who is to be blamed still remains a matter of conflict . Everyone gives their point of view but what about actually going up to a woman and asking her about what she thinks is right ?
Women are succeeding in every field which stretches across a wide breadth from home to her work place.
Certainly, women occupy more roles of power today, but women who ascend and retain positions of leadership remain few. While women make up more than half of the number of students in higher education and outperform their male classmates, (in number of advanced degrees earned in all fields but science and technology) that has not translated into gender equity or a significant increase in leadership roles.
Why so? Is it still because the society talks of us as weaklings ? We as a part of S.L.A.P are working together in making our society get rid of this stereotype. Soch,Ladh Aur Prerit Kar is an initiative to make women realise that they define power. Our society does think but it's high time they think right.
Our society teaches "don't get raped" and not "don't rape".This is where S.L.A.P steps in.
Come join us and help us take this initiative to where it deserves to be . A few thousand likes on Facebook is not our claim but a few thousand women standing up for themselves is what we aim.
